July 24 - Monteserrat!!!

Many of the students said that today was the best thing they have done so far during their time with Abbey Road!! We took a day trip to a town called Monteserrat. Monteserrat is multi-peaked mountain that also is home to the Benedictine Abbey as well as the world famous Virgin of Monteserrat Sanctuary which many believe to be the location of the Holy Grail in Arthurian Myth! While visiting, the students were able to see beautiful mountainous views, shop at the market for some delicious cheeses, view the Abbey as well as climb to the peak of the mountain!!! It was an amazing day for the Barcelona Program!
