July 14th - Salvador Dali Museum, La Rosa and Mont Juic Music Festival!

Today was an exciting day for the Barcelona students! We traveled to Figueres to tour and enjoy the museum of Spanish artist Salvador Dali. The students participated in a guided tour that showed them everything from his famous tear drop jewelry to his interesting ceiling mural. They were able to get inside details behind his paintings and secrets that the normal eye may not have noticed.

We then headed over to the beach town La Rosa to enjoy the sun, the views and lunch. This evening we ate a fantastic dinner at a restaurant that is on the roof of the old Bull Fighting Stadium in Paca Espanya. The students enjoyed typical Spanish food, amazing views and each other. After dinner we attended the music festival and Mont Juic. The students were able to see a variety of different spanish bands and music genres while sitting in the Olympic stadium and Placa Espanya!

Here are some photos from the day!
